  • Demographic Information, including date of birth, age, gender, languages you speak, location (e.g. postcode), product preferences, household or lifestyle information;
  • Payment Information, including to make purchases (e.g. credit card number, expiration date, and billing address);
  • Account Login Information, including any information that is required for you to establish a user account with Nick Scali (e.g. username, password and security question/answer); and

We will not collect, use or disclose “sensitive information” about you unless you have consented to such collection, use or disclosure. “Sensitive information” is information which relates to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union sexual preferences or practices, criminal record, or health or genetic information.

Why do we collect your personal information and how we use it?

We collect personal information about you when it is reasonably necessary for one or more of our activities or functions (e.g. delivering your purchased items to you), or for related purposes that you would reasonably expect, and as permitted or required by law, including for example:

  • Orders – to process and deliver your orders and to inform you about the status of your orders;
  • Communication – to enable us to communicate with you in order to provide you with our products and services, including providing you with information such as furniture care information;

Generally, you do not have an obligation to provide your personal information to us. However, without your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our goods or services (e.g. arrange for the purchased goods to be delivered to you, or process your feedback or complaints).

When do we share and disclose your personal information?

We may disclose your personal information for certain purposes, which includes disclosing your personal information to our affiliates, related bodies corporate, service providers, agents, contractors and other third parties to carry out activities on our behalf, including:

  • Providing access may disclose a trade secret of Nick Scali or unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of Nick Scali in relation to negotiations with you;
  • We reasonably believe that providing access would pose a serious threat to the life, health or safety of any individual, or to public health or public safety; or
  • The request for access is frivolous or vexatious; or
  • Where we are otherwise permitted by a relevant Privacy Act to do so.

  • Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

    Nick Scali does not save your Facebook personal data in our server. You can remove the authority not to allow Nick Scali app to access your Facebook basic information. Below are the instructions to remove the permission.

  • Go to your Facebook Account’s Setting & Privacy. Click “Settings”
  • Look for “Apps and Websites” and you will see all of the apps and websites you linked with your Facebook.
  • Search and Click “Nick Scali” in the search bar.
  • Scroll and click “Remove”.
  • Congratulations, you have successfully removed your app activities.

  • If you would like us to delete user data stored on the website please email us this request to privacy@nickscali.com.au.
